Some of us here at P14 already have our routines to brew coffee in the morning. From the type of method we use to our personal ratios to produce our perfect cup. If you are new to specialty coffee or new to a method, like French press or a pour over. We created these guides for those who need some help to get started. These are our recommendations for you to use as a base and discover your perfect cup.

Cold brew

French Press

    Ratios to brew one cup

  - 1/2 oz of coffee

  - 10oz of water

  - add ground coffee

  - add 5 oz of near boiling water 

  - stir vigorously 

  - add remaining water  

  -  let sit for 4 mins

  - scoop out coffee(for a cleaner cup)

  - plunge and pour your cup

  - enjoy!!

Pour Over

    V60 - 1 cup

 - 1/2 oz of coffee

 - 10 oz of water

 - rinse & preheat filter and vessel  

 - add ground coffee

 - add some water & let bloom 30 sec

 - slowly add the rest of the water

 - enjoy!!

Cold Brew 

  1 liter/ 33 oz

 - 4oz of ground coffee

 - 33 oz of cool water

 - A container

 - add ground coffee into a container 

 - add 33 oz of water 

 - let steep for 14hrs in room temp

 - filter ground coffee out 

 - add water to get back to 33 oz

 - enjoy!!
